Lead / Senior Programmer

GAMEWAX is looking for a dynamic programmer, excited to join a small team of industry veterans in West London, to have a major role in creating contemporary classics.

With additional offices in Kobe & Tokyo, our core development team have strong roots in Japan - so whilst the ability to understand Japanese is a welcomed bonus (but certainly not required), we are looking for applicants that are excited to be part of a multi-cultural team! 

Requirements:Applicants should be strong all rounders, technically advanced and possess strong communication skills. Excellent C/C++ programming skills with a firm understanding of computer graphics, physics, tools/game engine design & A.I is expected but also a self motivated, analytical and bright personality is required for this role.

Applicants must:
- Have at least 2 published titles to his/her name.
- Have a thorough understanding of the game production process.
- Possess strong multi-tasking management skills.

Senior Artist

GAMEWAX is looking for an multi-talented designer, excited to join a small team of industry veterans in West London, to have a major role in creating contemporary classics.

 With additional offices in Kobe & Tokyo, our core development team have strong roots in Japan - so whilst the ability to understand Japanese is a welcomed bonus (but certainly not required), we are looking for applicants that are excited to be part of a multi-cultural team!

Requirements:

Applicants should be strong all rounders, technically advanced and possess unique design attributes.  Fundamentally, you should be a skilled freehand artist with a firm understanding of Photoshop and 3D software such as 3DS MAX, MAYA and XSI.  You should also be a self motivated, analytical, avid gamer with a bright personalty - capable of managing a wide array of creative work including game design, character design & modeling, stage design & modeling, scenery/environment design, GUI design, some animation and ability to adapt various assets for use in different game engines.

Applicants must:

- Have at least 2 published titles to his/her name.
- Be strong all rounders, with a firm understanding of technology.
- Possess strong multi-tasking management skills.
